How we can help you

Boundary and Right-of-Way Disputes occur throughout the World.  Some countries have precise cadastral systems whereby boundaries are recorded and others have a more relaxed general approach.  England & Wales records boundaries in a general fashion, as described in the Land Registration Rules 2003 Part 10 (Land registration Act 2002 Section 60).

We are qualified and experienced Land Surveyors and hence we have a detailed knowledge of maps, aerial photography and the significance of local features (such as fences, walls, hedges, ditches etc).

Most boundary disputes will not get as far as the Courtroom if handled properly from the start.  To avoid spiralling costs and the spectre of the County Court it is vital that independent expert evidence is gathered so that the property owner can move forward with certainty.

We are experts at measuring existing boundary features and then comparing them with long-gone features (through aerial photographic records), Deeds, LR data and other documentation.

We prepare high-quality reports in accordance with the CPR (Civil Procedure Rules) and regularly undergo cross-examination in the Courts.

We are experienced in the following roles:-

  • Expert Surveyor
  • Single Joint Expert
  • Mediator
  • Arbitrator
